- 1 cake yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 pt. lukewarm water
- 1/2 c. lard
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Add sugar, salt and lard and mix enough flour for stiff dough.

3Let rise.

4Work down and rise second time.
-
5Work down; put in pans.

6Let rise and bake.
-
7Let dough double its size each raising.

8Keep in warm place.
-
9These buns can be made in five hours.

10Makes 24 bun size.

11Do not all have to be baked at once.
