- 4 c. flour
- 2 pkg. quick-rise yeast
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. shortening
Directions

1Combine flour, yeast, sugar and salt.

2Heat water and milk together in microwave until they are hot, but not boiling (about 3 minutes).

3Heat shortening until soft or partially melted.

4Fold water, milk and shortening into flour mixture.

5Let rise 30 minutes.

6Make into rolls and let rise again 20 minutes.

7Bake at 375° for 17 minutes or until light brown.

8Brush tops with melted margarine.
