Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour (plain)
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 can any sweetened fruit (peaches, blueberries, apples, etc.)
  • 2/3 c. milk

Directions

    Melt margarine in a deep baking dish.

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and milk.

    Pour batter in center of margarine.

    Pour can of fruit in center of batter (Do Not Stir).

    Bake 45 minutes at 350° or until brown.

    Serves 6 to 8.
