  • 1 (1 lb.) can Vege-Steaks
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 c. dairy sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2/3 c. water

Directions

    Drain steaks and cut into 1/4-inch wide strips.

    Brown strips in hot oil.

    Add mushrooms and onion soup mix.

    Heat to boiling. Put the flour into the sour cream and blend.

    Combine with first mixture.

    Cook and stir until mixture thickens.

    Sauce will be thin.

    Serve over hot noodles or rice.
