  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 4 slices stale bread
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. raisins
  • 2 eggs (medium)
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

    Melt margarine in 1-quart baking dish.

    Add bread (cut into 1/2-inch squares) and raisins; toss to coat.

    Beat eggs with milk, sugar, cinnamon and salt.

    Pour over bread and raisins in pan. Bake at 350° until puffy and golden, about 45 minutes.
