- 1/2 pkg. seedless raisins
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. raisin juice
- nuts
Directions

1Just cover raisins with water and cook until plumped.

2Pour off and reserve 1/2 cup of juice.

3Cream butter and sugar well. Add unbeaten egg.

4Add flour and baking soda alternately with juice.

5Add raisins and nuts.

6Bake in shallow greased and floured pan at 325° for 55 minutes.
