- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine, softened
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. walnuts (pecans, nuts, almonds, etc.)
- 2 c. raisins
- 1 c. flaked coconut
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Lightly grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Combine flour and sugar.

3Using a pastry blender or fork, cut margarine in until mixture resembles fine meal.

4Press into greased pan.

5Bake for 20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

6Meanwhile, combine eggs, brown sugar and vanilla; beat well. Stir in baking soda, walnuts, raisins and coconut.

7Spoon over hot crust.

8Spread to cover evenly.

9Return to oven; bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until top is set.

10Cool completely. Cut into bars.
