  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1 Tbsp. molasses or heavy syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • pastry for 2 crust pie

Directions

    Cook raisins in water until tender.

    Add mixture of sugar and flour.

    Add oleo, molasses and vinegar to raisin mixture.

    Cook until thick; cool slightly.

    Pour into pie shell and cover with top crust.

    Bake in moderate oven until done at 350°, about 30 minutes.
