- 3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 c. buttermilk (I use 1 Tbsp. vinegar plus enough milk to make 3/4 c.)
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2/3 c. water
Directions

1Add yeast to 2/3 cup warm water.

2Prepare milk.

3Let both set. Sift dry ingredients.

4Add yeast, milk and oil.

5Stir together. On floured surface knead until dough is smooth (add flour if needed).

6Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.

7Bake at 450° for 8 to 10 minutes.

8Extra dough keeps two weeks in refrigerator.

9Makes 12 large rolls.
