Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 bunch celery, chopped
  • tomatoes, petite diced
  • 3 tomatoe cans water, added to pot
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 scauce can water, add to pot
  • 4 -7 tablespoons chili powder, to taste
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed
  • kidney bean, rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounce) can white beans, rinsed (optional)

Directions

    Brown meat and onions, drain and add to large pot.

    Add rest of ingredients and simmer 2 hours.

    Before end of 2 hours add rinsed beans.

    Optional additions:.

    Usually serve id over cooked elbow macaroni (I do not add the macaroni to the pot).
