- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. oats
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. coconut
Directions

1Beat together shortening and sugars.

2Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

3Add cereals and coconut. The dough will be crumbly.

4Form into balls about the size of a walnut or drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased baking sheet. Press down dough lightly.

5Bake at 325° for 8 to 12 minutes or until golden.
