- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1/3 c. raspberry jam
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3Add egg and almond extract and beat.

4Add flour, baking powder and salt and blend well.

5Spread in ungreased 9-inch square pan.

6Smooth surface.

7Using a wet finger, make 5 to 7 diagonal indentations.

8Fill with jam.

9Bake 12 minutes.

10Cool and cut into squares.
