- 3 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 2 egg whites
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. flavored gelatin
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cook sugar, syrup and water together over moderate heat to hard ball stage or 252° on the candy thermometer.

2Stir often. Beat egg whites until foamy.

3Add dry gelatin.

4Beat until egg whites form peaks.

5Slowly beat in hot mixture; continue beating until a test spoonful will hold shape.

6Add nuts.

7Drop quickly onto waxed paper.
