- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. raspberry jam
Directions

1Cream the butter, sugar and eggs, adding eggs one at a time. Add soda to the milk.

2Add sifted dry ingredients and add buttermilk alternately to creamed mixture.

3Mix jam in.

4Pour into two 9-inch layer pans and bake until it tests done.
