- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. water
- 1 qt. fresh raspberries
- 1 qt. whiskey or brandy
Directions

1Simmer sugar and water until sugar is dissolved.

2Cool and pour over raspberries in a wide-mouth gallon jar.

3Add liquor. Cover loosely and set in a cool, dark place for 3 months.

4Strain out raspberries and strain again through several layers of cheesecloth.

5Pour into clean quart bottles.
