- 32 pitted dates
- 3 cups filtered water
Directions

1Place dates in a medium mixing bowl, cover with water and let soak for 20 minutes.

2Massage dates in soaking water with your hands (this helps to soften them).

3Drain the dates but reserve the soaking water.

4Place dates and 1/2 cup of reserved water in the blender and blend into a smooth paste.

5Stored in a sealed container, Date Paste will keep for 2 weeks in the fridge or 1 month in the freezer.

6Thaw for a few minutes before using.
