- 1 small head cabbage (4 to 5 c.), finely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. each: salt and sugar
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 c. sour cream
Directions

1Cook (or steam) cabbage about 5 minutes until tender, but crisp.

2Blend egg, vinegar, butter, sugar, salt and pepper.

3Cook over low heat, until thick, about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool slightly.

4Add sour cream and pour over cabbage.

5Toss well to coat.

6Serve warm or chilled.
