- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1/4 cups Onion, Diced
- 1/4 cups Carrot Finely Diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire
- 23 cups Oatmeal Or Breadcrumbs
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoons Basil, Dried
- 1/4 teaspoons Oregano, Dried
- 6 ounces, fluid Tomato Juice
- 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
- Ketchup, For The Top
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Melt butter in a sauce pan on medium high heat.

3Add onions, carrot, garlic and saute until soft.

4Add the Worcestershire and cook for 2 minutes.

5Remove from heat and set aside.

6In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mix together the oatmeal, egg, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and tomato juice.

7Let it sit for a minute, so the oatmeal absorbs the liquid.

8Add the meat and vegetable mixture to bowl and mix just until you get an even combination.

9In a greased loaf pan, evenly spread the meat mixture.

10Spread a thin layer of ketchup over the top.

11Bake for 1 hour.
