  • 2 gal. tomato juice
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 20 drops each: cinnamon and clove oil
  • 8 c. white sugar (can use part saccharine)
  • 6 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 c. vinegar
  • 8 Tbsp. salt

    Boil down juice with onions about one third.

    Mix in sugar and cornstarch.

    Add rest almost at the last.

    Seal in jars.
