- 6 cups water
- 1 cup vinegar (dark cider)
- 2 12 tablespoons canning salt
- 1 head dill
- 1 clove garlic
- cucumber
Directions

1Put 1 head of dill (or more) and 1 clove garlic in each quart jar.

2Or use 1 gallon jar with 5 heads dill and 4 garlic cloves.

3Add cucumbers whole or sliced, to jar.

4Pour boiling solution over cucumbers in jar.

5Let stand overnight at room temperature.

6Next morning put lids on jars and put in refrigerator.

7Keeps all winter.

8Solution is exactly enough for 1 gallon jar.
