- 5 lb. white potatoes
- 4 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. dried chives
- 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- paprika
Directions

1Peel and quarter potatoes.

2Heat water and salt in 4-quart pan on high until boiling.

3Add potatoes.

4Cover and cook until done. Drain and mash.

5Add butter, cream cheese, chives, 1 teaspoon salt and pepper.

6Mix until smooth; gradually add milk to make potatoes creamy and fluffy.

7Refrigerate in covered container.

8Will keep up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.

9When ready to cook, put in greased glass dish.

10Dot with butter and paprika.

11Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
