- 5 c. all-purpose flour
- 3 c. sugar (may use part brown)
- 5 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 1 c. shortening, melted
Directions

1Mix in very large bowl.

2Combine dry ingredients.

3Make a well in the center.

4Add eggs, buttermilk and shortening.

5Stir together.

6Cover and store in refrigerator.

7Use as you wish to make breakfast muffins.

8Will keep up to two weeks in refrigerator.
