- 9 c. cucumbers, peeled and sliced
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 c. onion
Directions

1Cover cucumbers with salt.

2Let stand for 1 hour and drain well.

3Combine sugar, vinegar and celery seed and bring to a boil. Let this syrup mixture cool, then pour over cucumbers.

4Add 1 onion.

5Pack into pint jars and store in refrigerator.

6Pickles will be ready to enjoy in about 3 days.
