Ingredients

  • 4 c. white sugar
  • 4 c. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. plain salt (not iodized)
  • 2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • 6 to 8 average size cucumbers, sliced thin
  • 3 large onions, sliced thin

Directions

    In a gallon container, mix sugar, vinegar, salt, celery seed, mustard seed and turmeric until sugar is dissolved.

    Then add cucumbers and onions.

    Keep in refrigerator.

    Can be packed in jars after 3 days and kept in refrigerator.
