- 1 gal. sliced cucumbers (glass jug)
- 3 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 c. vinegar
- 1/3 c. salt
- 1 Tbsp. alum
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 2 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Mix all ingredients except cucumbers.

2Pour over cucumbers and stir once a day for 6 days.

3Ready to eat.

4Must be kept in refrigerator.

5There won't be enough liquid to cover the cucumbers the first day.

6Don't give up.

7There will be more each day.
