- cucumbers (any size)
- 4 Tbsp. alum
- 4 Tbsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. pickling spice
Directions

1Fill gallon jar with clean cucumbers (any size).

2Add alum, salt and pickling spice.

3Cover cucumbers with vinegar.

4Set for 3 months or longer.

5Cover.

6When you are ready to use, drain liquid.

7Cut cucumbers into slices.

8Add 2 cups sugar per quart of cucumbers.

9Pack in jars.

10Refrigerate.
