Ingredients

  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 1 large or 2 small onions, sliced thin
  • about 10 to 12 medium cukes, sliced thin

Directions

    Bring to a boil: vinegar, sugar, salt, celery and mustard seed until sugar is dissolved.

    Pour, while hot, over onions and cuke slices.

    Let cool and refrigerate.

    Cukes will settle and a few more slices can be added.
