  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. Crisco, melted
  • 3 c. or more self-rising flour

Directions

    Dissolve dry yeast in lukewarm water. Mix well the sugar, egg and Crisco. Add 3 cups or more self-rising flour and mix well. Drop by spoon. Bake in well-greased muffin pan in preheated oven at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes or until done. Store remaining batter in refrigerator.
