  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. or 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 7 c. sifted plain flour

    In a large mixing bowl, pour hot water over shortening; add sugar and salt.
