Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 8 c. plain flour

Directions

    Cool to lukewarm.

    Add flour and all other ingredients; stir well.

    Form into ball with greased hands.

    Store in large greased bowl covered in refrigerator until needed.

    Make into rolls; let rise until doubled in bulk.

    Bake in 400° oven until lightly browned.

    Brush with butter.
