- 4 c. ground green tomatoes
- 6 hot green peppers
- 12 sweet peppers (red preferred)
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 2 Tbsp. ground mustard seed
- 4 Tbsp. celery seed
- 6 c. sugar
- 4 c. vinegar
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Grind vegetables; sprinkle with 1/2 cup salt.

2Let stand at least 4 hours.

3Rinse and drain; then add the remaining ingredients to the ground vegetable mixture.

4Simmer about 10 minutes.
