- 4 c. onions
- 10 green peppers
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 4 c. cider vinegar
- 1 medium head cabbage
- 6 sweet red peppers
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
Directions

1Grind all vegetables (coarse blade).

2Sprinkle with 1/2 cup salt.

3Let stand for 8 to 12 hours.

4Rinse and drain.

5Squeeze excess water.

6Combine sugar, celery seed, mustard seed, turmeric and vinegar.

7Pour over vegetables.

8Bring to a boil.

9Simmer for 3 minutes.

10Seal in hot sterilized jars.

11Makes 8 pints.
