Ingredients

  • 1 bag sauerkraut, rinsed and drained 3 times
  • 1 can corned beef, shredded or broken into small pieces, or buy at deli and shred
  • 12 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 10 slices beefsteak rye bread
  • 2 sticks margarine

Directions

    In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer the first 4 items in the order given.

    Then spread sour cream over the top, then crumbs from the beefsteak rye bread.

    Melt margarine and pour over all.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
