  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 c. chopped rhubarb
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. boiling water

Directions

    Combine together 1 cup sugar, flour, butter, baking powder and milk; pour into 9-inch square pan.

    Over this batter put rhubarb, 1 cup sugar and boiling water.

    Bake at 350° until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
