- 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 1/2 bunch chopped parsley
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 small can mushrooms
- 1 c. consomme, 1 c. water or 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. curry powder
- salt to taste
Directions

1In a skillet, place the first 6 ingredients.

2Cook 10 minutes or until the rice is golden.

3Add remaining ingredients.

4Put into casserole and bake until rice absorbs the liquid (20 to 30 minutes).

5Stir while baking, once.

6Serves 4 to 5.
