Rice Meat Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 salt
  • 1/2 c. raw rice

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together and make balls slightly larger than walnut.

    Place in baking dish.

    Pour can of tomato or mushroom or celery soup and 1 can of water over the meat balls and bake slowly 2 1/2 hours in 350° oven.

    Makes 18 meat balls.
