  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. uncooked parboiled long grain rice
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. scallion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. toasted slivered almonds

Directions

    In medium saucepan, bring first 4 ingredients to boil.

    Add rice.

    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

    Stir in scallion and almonds.
