- 1 1/2 c. long grain rice
- 2 1/3 c. water
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth
- 1 (1.25 oz.) envelope onion soup mix or herb and garlic
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in a lightly greased 11 x 7-inch baking dish, stirring well.

2Cover tightly and bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
