  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 c. regular rice (uncooked)
  • 1 (10 oz.) can beef consomme

Directions

    Saute onion in butter.

    Add mushrooms and heat thoroughly. Combine onion, mushrooms, rice and consomme in 2-quart casserole. Bake, covered, at 350° for 1 hour.
