- 1 c. rice (uncooked)
- 1/4 c. diced onion
- 2 Tbsp. melted margarine or oil
- 2 c. water
- 2 chicken or beef bouillon cubes
Directions

1Melt margarine in 2-quart saucepan.

2Add rice and onion. Brown, but do not burn.

3Add water and bouillon cubes.

4Simmer 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until rice kernels are soft.

5Add water by small amounts if needed.

6Serve as an accompaniment to chicken, beef or pork roast.
