- 1/3 pkg. egg noodles (any size)
- 1 Tbsp. Crisco or oil
- 1 c. rice
- 2 1/2 c. chicken broth or bouillon
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- salt to taste
Directions

1Brown the egg noodles in the Crisco in a heavy-gauge saucepan over low heat.

2Add the rice, chicken broth and butter.

3Bring to a boil.

4Stir until butter is melted.

5Turn heat to low.

6Cover with a lid.

7Cook about 20 minutes or until rice is tender.

8Add salt as needed.
