- 1 can beef consomm
- 1 can water
- 1 1/2 stick margarine
- 2 cups long grain regular rice
- 2/3 c. chopped carrots
- 2/3 c. blanched almonds
- 1 tsp. accent
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
Directions

1Hand chop carrots and celery, use scissors for green onion tops.

2Set oven to 325.

3Put casserole pan with heavy cover in oven to heat.

4A heavy casserole with a tight fitting cover works best.

5Meanwhile, in a sauce pan, melt margarine and add rice.

6In another pan heat the consomm and water, just before it starts to boil, pour rice and margarine into consomm.

7Take hot casserole out of oven and pour rice mixture into it.

8Return to oven and bake 35 minutes.

9Serves 10 - 12.
