Ingredients
- 1 1/2 qt. milk
- 3/4 c. rice (not instant)
- 1/2 c. canned milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In a deep saucepan, combine milk and rice.

2Simmer, over low heat, until rice is done (about 45 minutes).

3Mix eggs, canned milk, sugar and cornstarch in a bowl and set aside.

4When rice is done, add liquid mixture and vanilla.

5Bring back to a boil and remove from heat.

6Pour into dish and cool.

7Sprinkle cinnamon and/or nutmeg on top.

8Serve hot or cold.
