  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. scalded milk
  • 1 1/4 c. cooked rice
  • 1 c. seedless raisins
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of nutmeg

Directions

    Combine eggs, sugar and salt and mix well.

    Blend in milk, then add rice, raisins, vanilla and spices.

    Bake in greased, 1-quart baking dish.

    Set inside shallow pan with 1 inch of water. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
