- 3 c. whole milk
- 2/3 c. Minute rice, uncooked
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/3 c. raisins
Directions

1Heat milk to scalding, but do not boil.

2Beat eggs; add sugar and beat again.

3Add milk, rice, vanilla, cinnamon and raisins. Pour into casserole.

4Sprinkle with nutmeg.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

6Stir at 20 minutes and at 40 minutes (this keeps rice from settling on bottom of pan).
