- 4 Tbsp. long grain rice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 qt. Heritage milk
- 1/2 c. sugar (or more to taste)
Directions

1Start cooking rice in water on top of stove, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

2When all water is absorbed and rice appears fluffy, begin adding milk.

3Pour into large baking dish and place in 350° oven for 2 to 3 hours.

4Stir frequently to prevent crust-like topping.

5Add salt and sugar.

6Longer cooking time makes a better tasting pudding!

7Add vanilla towards the end of baking time.

8Extra milk can be added and stirred in throughout baking time.
