Rice Refrigerator Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 (1/4 oz.) pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 2 eggs
- 5 to 6 c. flour
Directions

1Scald milk; stir in sugar, salt and shortening.

2Cool to lukewarm.

3Dissolve yeast in warm water.

4Add rice to milk.

5Add yeast and eggs.

6Add about half the flour; stir until mixed well. Add enough of the remaining flour to make a very stiff dough. Stir until dough leaves the side of the bowl.

7Knead until smooth. Place dough in a large greased bowl.

8Grease top of dough.

9Cover with plastic wrap or foil; place in refrigerator for at least 12 hours.

10Remove from refrigerator 2 to 3 hours before serving and shape.

11Let rise and bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes.
