- 1 tablespoon butter
- 6 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can low sodium beef broth
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed French onion soup
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut in small cubes
Directions

1Melt butter over medium heat in an oven safe saucepan.

2Add mushrooms and saute until soft.

3Turn off heat.

4Add rice, beef broth and condensed French onion soup (do not dilute).

5Scatter butter over the top.

6Cover tightly and bake at 375F for 1 hour.

7Stir, then let stand covered 5 minutes before serving.
