- 1 1/2 c. syrup
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Combine syrup, margarine and sugar in saucepan.

3Bring to a boil gently for 5 minutes.

4Cool slightly. Mix the eggs, vanilla and salt.

5Gradually stir in cool syrup mixture.

6Pour over chocolate chips in pie plate crust.

7Arrange pecan halves on top of pie.

8Bake 35 to 40 minutes until knife comes clean.

9Cool.
