- 5 potatoes
- 2 carrots
Directions

1Wash roast.

2Salt and pepper.

3Batter in flour; put in roasting pan.

4Add water (almost to top of roast).

5Cover; cook in a 350° oven until tender, about 1 1/2 hours.

6Take from oven.

7Add potatoes, cut lengthwise.

8Add carrots.

9Cover; put back in oven and cook until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
